FAQ'S
When and where does the hackathon take place?
The event will be held on Saturday 7th March 2015, at our headquarters, at 10 Pentonville Road, London (right by Angel tube station).
Can I work with a team?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage it. Feel free to collaborate with others.
Can I hack on something I've already built in the past?
There are no time constraints on when your hack was built. So if you have something lying around, feel free to revive it for the hack day. Just make sure you can integrate the R&R Music API into your hack.
How do you get technical help on how to use the R&R Music API?
Technical details of the API's will be released and emailed to you a week before the event so that you will have everything you need to plan for the event.
Are you expecting my hack to be production-ready?
No. These are demos/prototypes/proofs-of-concept. It's fine if they're rough around the edges, as long as they more-or-less work.
Are there limits on what I can hack?
We encourage you to be creative, and find interesting, novel uses of the R&R Music API.
Who will own my hack?
You will. Your hack is, and will remain, yours. You will be free to continue to develop it into a fully-fledged product, just like any other R&R Music API user.
Is the event space accessible?
There are elevators in the building. The entrance is 0.2 miles away from the Angel tube station which is fully accessible. Our office has 2 non-gendered single-person bathrooms. Please inform us if you have any accessibility considerations by emailing craig@randrmusic.com.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Email craig@randrmusic.com and we'll get right back to you.
