Our developers have been hard at work building the R&R Music API, which will let you create apps that sit on top of our industry-leading music recommendation system.
They've designed the API's so that you can get access to a library of over 35 million SoundCloud tracks, matched with similar sounding commercial tracks making over 70 million referenced in total.
The API enables us to determine - like the human brain does - what songs on SoundCloud are sonically similar to music you already like.
Now we're inviting you to share your creativity by building a mobile or webapp that uses the R&R Music API at the first R&R Music Hackathon, on March 7th at our London headquarters.
